Who we are

This website is operated by Global Arts Education Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 11115589). In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Global Arts Education Ltd. We are the data controller for the personal information described below.

Information we collect

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it has no forms or user accounts. We collect personal information only when you choose to contact us by email, in which case we receive your name, email address and anything you include in your message.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site securely and protect it from abuse. Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.

How we use it

We use the information you send us by email only to reply to you and to deal with your enquiry. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence. We do not sell your information, use it for marketing, or share it with anyone except where required by law.

Students featured in the exhibition

The Winners’ Exhibition shows work by award winners of the Global Arts Challenge, published with permission. We show each student’s given name and surname initial only, together with their work, their own statement and the judges’ comments. If you are a featured student, or a parent or guardian of one, and would like anything changed or removed, please email us and we will act on your request promptly.

How long we keep it

We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, and then delete it. Cloudflare and Google keep technical logs in line with their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct, delete or restrict its use, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email us at the address below. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

International transfers

Cloudflare and Google may process technical information outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
